Our History

Gluskin’s was founded by Miriam and Harry Gluskin, who opened Gluskin’s Camera Corner in a small downtown Stockton, California storefront in 1948. The store expanded into new quarters on Pacific Avenue.  In 1984, Miriam and Harry retired and Neil Gluskin took the reins, expanding Gluskins’ audio/video, home theater, and digital photography departments.  In 1991, Gluskin’s Camera & Audio/Video arrived at its location in Lincoln Center.

Gluskin’s Photo is a “spin-off” from a long respected and well-known business established in 1948 by Miriam and Harry, then called Gluskin’s Camera Corner.

The decision to open Gluskin’s Photo was most logical. Where else would the fine people of Stockton and the Central Valley go to get the best quality, reasonable prices and helpful service? The answer was simple; purchase the processing equipment and hire the best people from Gluskin’s Camera Audio/Video to do the job. That is just what we did.

Gluskin’s Photo has gone full circle and the store is now located across the street from where it started almost 70 years ago. Gluskin’s Photo continues to offer Central Valley residents personal, friendly, and expert service in everything for their photo processing. We know and love the community, and count many customers among our good friends. Come in and see how we can help you get the most out of your photography.

Our mission has always been the same: provide our customers with quality, value and outstanding service. If you haven’t tried our printing, please give us a chance to experience for yourself just how great your photographs can look.  We also carry the largest selection of used camera equipment in the Central Valley.
